That's right! Apaga offers an easy, rewarding and affordable way to recycle recyclable waste. We provide daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly pickups, scheduled depending on your address.

What's in it for You?

Putting aside the fact that you would be participating in making Armenia Greener and more sustainable, we offer access to unlimited discount coupons from 35 different organizations.

How do we operate?

We periodically come to your and collect your recyclable waste. We then transport it to our storage facility, where it is pre-sorted, and sent to recycling plants across Armenia. Revenue from submitting the waste to recyclers only covers 10% of our operational costs. Another 50% is covered by your subscription fees and there rest is sponsored through Re-Apaga Charity Foundation with funds provided by the EU through the Eurasia Partnership Foundation's Bridge for CSOs program, in association with AGBU.

Why do we do this?

Though we are not profitable right now, the primary purpose of this project is to implement sustainable waste processing in Armenia which will improve health, tourism, and will create good jobs. Our goal is to reach 10,000 users by 2020.

What do we Collect?

-All types of plastic except Polystyrene foam (penoplast)
-All types of glass except electronic glass like screens and lightbulbs
-All types of paper except when coated with plastic or contaminated with oily residue like coffe cups and pizza boxes

Do we Provide Containers?
At your discretion, you can choose to purchase special containers, but this is not mandatory. Please contact us for information on container types, dimensions, colors and prices.

How Much Does it Cost?

There are a few options to choose from, but the most common one is in the form of a yearly subscription for one or more types of waste. Subscription fees vary between 6,000 AMD and 16,000 AMD Per Year depending on the types of waste and frequency of pickups.

Other Service Conditions and Commitments:

• You have access to the whole list of discount coupons for the full length of your subscription, with unlimited use.
• Apaga guarantees to complete each pickup on the date noted on your agreement
• Pickups generally occur between 5:00PM and 10:00PM
• One day prior to each pickup, you receive an SMS or call to confirm your pickup.
• If Apaga fails to complete a pickup, the pickup is postponed to within the next 7 days: Subsequent pickups will continue as scheduled in the agreement.
